About The Artist

I was very fortunate to paint and create at an early age. My father was the reason I became an artist. He instilled in me a love of painting and the outdoors. My enjoyment of being active and appreciating the beauty around me is extended through my paintings. Images from a morning bike ride, a mountain hike, or skiing a cross-country trail are my inspiration.

I attended the Long Island Academy of Fine Art. It was the first classical art studio on Long Island started by Robert Armetta. My works have been shown at galleries throughout New England, the North and South Forks of Long Island as well as in many private and corporate collections.

My preferred medium is acrylic and oil. For all my adult years, I have taken my love of painting and tried to inspire others through teaching. Whether it is a private lesson in my studio, a small plein air group or a scheduled painting class, I encourage all to realize their talents.
